The Taylors are getting back together!
In tonight’s episode of Last Man Standing that stars Tim Allen, Jonathan Taylor Thomas will make a “surprise” cameo – along with the previously announced Patricia Richardson – to help round out the impromptu Home Improvement reunion.
Richardson plays Helen Potts, a divorced neighbor of Allen’s character, Mike. So how did the former Randy Taylor, aka the 33-year-old Thomas, end up in the episode, as well? Thomas came to the set to help promote the mini-reunion and the producers asked if he would step in to make a cameo. Lucky for Home Improvement fans, he did!
Richardson will play Helen Potts, a recently divorced neighbor of Mike’s who has gotten into a bit of conflict with Mike’s frenemy, Chuck (Jonathan Adams). ABC doesn’t want to spill what Taylor’s role is, however.
Tonight’s episode is not the first time Allen has invited his old Home Improvement colleagues to appear on his ABC comedy. Taylor and Richard Karn have starred in previous episodes.
Last Man Standing airs Friday nights 8/7 Central on ABC.
